My little boy is almost a year old, and he's a darn cute boy. Here he is sleeping in his crib with his favorite stuffed toy Hobbes:
And here is the photo mommy forgot to post with his hair cut photos. This is a day or so before his haircut, with some gel in his hair, giving him a baby mowhawk. (Kyra says, "This is for you, Sabrina.")
And here's another cute photo of him playing with his ingenious half-circle cup toys.
Luca has also learned his first words (we think): ball, uh-oh, and bye. Just within the last few days! He said ball while playing with a ball, uh-oh when daddy dropped a small box, and bye to one of his teachers at school. (By the way, we played this game the other night in which I drop a small box and he picks it up and gives it to me. For some reason, Luca finds this hilarious.)
Luca's birthday is coming up soon, and we'll be having a party on Saturday, October 10th. If you would like to attend, please let us know and we'll provide the location and time. (Hopefully you've already received an invitation by email or Facebook, but we may have forgotten some people.) It will be held at a park in town, and we'll be serving turkey burgers, portabella mushroom burgers, and of course birthday cake.
